Originally the place where the wine was pressed many centuries ago, this is now a fantastic holiday house overlooking the Château and its moat in the Vendée.

Enjoy a glass of wine or a family barbecue on your private terrace under the ancient trees. This gite has a large living room, with fully equipped kitchen, a fireplace, a dining area, and an amazing view. Separate bathroom with shower and bedroom. Ideal for families with kids, but also for couples looking for a romantic escape. Not suitable for people with disabilities or disabled people.

Please note: From July 1st until September 1st, the minimum stay is 1 week and arrivals at the Pressoir are on SATURDAY. Outside this period the minimum stay is 2 nights, arrivals any day you wish.

What you can expect:

• 71m2 of cozy living space.
• Living room with seats near the fireplace and a large table to eat.
• Open kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, toaster, water boiler and coffee machine.
• Magical view over the moat.
• Bathroom with bathtub and toilet.
• Bedroom with a comfortable double bed (180cm x 200cm).
• Sofa bed (140cm x 190cm) in the living room.
• Kids’ room (6m²) with bunkbed (80cm x 160cm).
• For 1 to 6 people.
• BBQ.
• Wifi.
• Baby bed available – see services.

Rental includes:

• Bedlinen and the basics will be provided for the kitchen and toilet.
• Beds will be made upon arrival but please bring your own towels.
• At the end of your stay, we ask that you to leave the gite “broom clean” and we’ll take care of the rest.

Tourist tax : 1,40€ p.p.p.n. ( for guests over the age of 18 ). By making a reservation for this gîte you agree with our rental conditions. Please read them carefully before making your reservation. A €200 deposit is required, refundable at the end of your stay (cash). Arrival between 5 pm & 8 pm, departure around 10 am. We will do our best to be flexible. Just let us know.

“We just spent 10 nights in the Gîte Le Pressoir, and we’re still completely immersed in the château’s enchanting atmosphere. The stay was wonderfully peaceful, and the gîte was perfectly equipped. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was an absolute delight. On top of that, we were very lucky with the weather: during the last three weeks of October, temperatures exceeded 25 degrees. We even managed to have two barbecues and enjoy evenings outside until late.Our two ‘châtelains’ gave us fantastic recommendations to explore places we wouldn’t normally have thought to visit—truly amazing! For example: Puy du Fou, Passage du Gois, and even a glimpse of the Hellfest festival in Clisson. Additionally, we enjoyed stunning bike rides thanks to Komoot, naturally on electric bikes.In summary, we had a wonderful stay with two exceptional hosts. Thank you so much, Sandra and Paul!”
