Perfect for a family holiday is having your own wing in the castle.

This holiday house (144 m²) is located in a wing of the castle and has its own independent entrance. It can accommodate 4 people in 2 bedrooms. If you need more rooms, you will find two more rooms on the second floor of the castle (room 1832 & room 2019). This brings the capacity to 10 people. Ask us about the possibilities.

Please note: From July 1st 2024 until September 1st 2024 minimum stay is 1 week and arrivals are on SATURDAY. Outside this period the minimum stay is 3 nights. Arrivals any day you wish.

On the ground floor: a 57m² living room, granite tiles and under beams with its superb view of the moat. A kitchen next to it fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, electric cooking, dishwasher ……

A shared staircase brings you to the first floor.

On the first floor: your private hall connecting two large rooms (1100 & 1350) next to each other. A breathtaking view of the moats and the vineyard. Total privacy in a dedicated part of the castle. A very large bedroom with double bed, and a small step to enter the Castle tower, where you will find your luxurious private bathroom with freestanding bath, large separate shower and toilet. The second bedroom with a luxurious adjoining bathroom with shower and toilet.

Detailed description of the bedrooms:
Room “1100” celebrates the very beginning of this unique Château. The first foundations were established in the 11th century. Now you can feel at home in such a rich history. This 24m² room has views overlooking the moat, the winery, and the vineyard. A charming sitting area by the window makes your stay feel like home while you enjoy our Château wine with a cheese platter. A small step and you enter the tower of the Château, where you’ll find your luxurious private bathroom of 18m². The bathroom offers a free standing bath, a large separate shower and toilet.
Bedroom with a comfortable double bed (160cm x 200cm). Private bathroom in the tower (connected to the bedroom), freestanding bath, large shower, toilet and hair dryer.

Room “1350” is named after the first inhabitants of this Château, the Boux family, who lived here through many generations for 110 years. Jean Boux was the first seigneur (lord) de la Preuille. This 18m2 room has a great view over the moat. Enjoy the early morning from the comfort of an armchair, and discover the birdlife on the water. Bedroom with a comfortable double bed (180cm x 200cm). Private bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer.

Deposit of 200 € returnable at the end of your stay (cash or cheque accepted).

Rental includes:
  • Bedlinnen and the basics will be provided for the kitchen and toilet.
  • Beds will be made upon arrival but please bring your own towels.
  • At the end of your stay, we ask that you to leave the gite “broom clean” and we’ll take care of the rest.
